The BSID awards 3 presentation prizes at the annual meeting:

• Oral Presentation Prize
  Awarded to the best oral presentation at the annual meeting of the Society. Presentations are judged by the BSID committee and the award is announced at the end of the meeting.

• Registrar's Prize
  Awarded to the best oral presentation by a trainee in dermatology at the annual meeting of the Society. The award is announced at the end of the meeting.

• Poster Prize
  Awarded to the best poster presentation at the annual meeting of the Society. Presentations will be judged by the BSID committee and the award will be announced at the end of the meeting.

In addition, a number of Travel Awards are made to enable junior researchers to attend the meeting and a Young Investigator Fellowship (£1,500) is awarded annually.

The BSID Medal for Contributions to Dermatological Research has also been launched recently.
