BSID Medal for Contributions to Dermatological Research

Applications are now open for the second BSID Medal for Contributions to Dermatological Research. This is a prestigious award recognising a BSID member for longstanding contributions to cutaneous research. At least two BSID members should act as nominators, having obtained the permission of the nominee. A cover letter and copy of the relevant curriculum vitae should then be sent to the BSID Chairman, for subsequent review by the BSID committee.  

The closing date for nominations is 30th April 2010 and a reminder will be given during the preceding 2010 BSID meeting.  

The successful nominee will be informed in August 2010 and invited to give a talk at the 2011 BSID meeting in Manchester, when presentation of the award will take place.
