The 2008 BSID conference will be held at the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre of the University of Oxford, with accommodation at New College (see annotated map).

New College is centrally located, approximately 1 mile east of the railway station.

Please note that there is no parking at New College or at the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre. Parking is generally difficult in Oxford, so we encourage conference delegates to travel to Oxford by rail or coach. On-street parking is severely restricted in the city centre and in the roads surrounding the college. Many of the central Oxford roads are not accessible by car, or only at restricted times. We encourage those wishing to bring cars to use 'park-and-ride' schemes, but please see this website, since there are some restrictions on maximum lengths of stay at some of the parks.

The nearest airports are London Heathrow (46 miles) and Luton (47 miles).
