Professor Nick Reynolds was awarded the BSID Medal 2026 for Contributions to Dermatological Research!
The BSID Annual Meeting 2026 was held At Whitworth Hall, University of Manchester from April 20th to the 21st April.
96 Dermatology researchers presented their work in talks, flash talks and posters in a friendly and fun environment.

ECR Award Winners for 2026 Dr Su Lwin and Dr Zoe Venables
This year we awarded two BSID Early Career Researcher awards, to Dr Zoe Venables and Dr Su Lwin.
Both recipients gave fascinating talks. Both recipients talked about their different paths to a career in Dermatological research, with mentorship and the support of colleagues being a key message.
